Pearl Jam – I Got Id
What a great song from the Merkin Ball single from 1995, which was part of the Neil Young/Pearl Jam team up on Neil’s Mirror Ball album.
The song actually only features Pearl Jam members Eddie Vedder and Jack Irons; with Neil Young laying down some amazing guitar work and super producer Brendan O’ Brien on bass.
It’s been stuck in my head for some time now and I just love the lines “So I’ll just lie down and wait for the dream, Where I’m not ugly and you’re looking at me”. Good stuff indeed.
