I have the EP that it was on, it's called Songs to Make Love To. It's pretty good. I don't know if Mike was a troublemaker, now that I think about it. I just think that he is a very, very, very unique person. I never saw him with FNM, but I did see him with Tomahawk. After The Melvins were done, Mike came out and set up his own mic and gear, it was kind of cool and yet crazy. And, some of his projects are a bit strange. That sucks about their original drummer. He sounds like a moron. I hate that about bands too. I remember meeting Jerry Cantrell at this meet and greet in a record store in Scranton, PA. He was a jerk. He didn't say a word, grunted when you tried to talk to him and then he signed everything as 'JC'. I thought that was lame that he didn't even sign his entire name. Maybe he was pissed that he was opening up for Creed that night.

Their cover of “Easy” is awesome. Like Janes or Joni Mitchell so I like Epic still. Over played and all. Have you heard their cover of Easy by Lionel Richie? Mike is unique maybe he was sort of a trouble maker? I'm not sure I don't know him. I did however know their first drummer Lars (sp?) from the old days he was a jerk. He was in this cool local band in Oregon afterwards but man, my boyfriend at the time loved him because he was in a band but he (drummer boy) told me once that he only dated fat girls because they'll sleep with anyone famous because they can't get other dates. I was so pissed off because I hate when I like a band and then the members make me feel bad about liking them. I still liked FNM but this guy should have been shot and stuffed -- every time you'd see him he'd be saying something stupid.

I agree they have better songs than Epic — but they’re a band that I never get tired of their songs. I never had a chance to see FNM, but I wish I did. I haven't heard much from their earlier days, except for like "We Care A Lot". I remember loving "Epic" when it was released as a single, but now I'm just tired of it. They have so many great songs, that are far better than "Epic". I mean Angel Dust is, in my opinion, a must have album. They were a great band, it's a shame things didn't work out, but that's probably hard when Mike Patton is involved. He's a very unique individual.

That’s crazy!

I never had a chance to see FNM, but I wish I did. Faith No More is my most favorite; or at least in the top five favorites from your era. (well, your blog's era). I liked them before and after Mike. I never ever call bands. For instance I saw Everclear before they were big at some local scene in Salem Or and I went around telling everyone that I saw some lame band who'd never make it big because they sucked so much. Wrong. I still don't like them but obviously I was dead wrong. I am a lot. I thought the Daddies would become world wide famous -- no. BUT FNM I totally called. I knew about them when Chuck was still with them but of course they hit MTV with Mike and Epic and From Out of Nowhere. (although they had the 2 other videos before). So anyhow long story short -- Epic hit Headbangers Ball request list and I called and called and told everyone I knew about this band calld FNM and how they would rule the world. No one even believed that there was this supposed band but look at how I won that one. I saw them once at this killer venue; so small and I was right on the stage wall and Mike patted me on the head. I don't get gushy about celebrities but that one moved me. Ahh, now I'll have happy memories all night.

You’ve done it now.
