Absolute Garbage
One of my guilty pleasures from the 90’s, Garbage, releases their first greatest hits package Absolute Garbage.

It’s probably been a long time since you’ve heard from Garbage. But you have to remember who they were. The band started by three producers and fronted by a beautiful red-haired Scot.
Being a greatest hits package, all of the usual suspects are there. Everything from “Only Happy When It Rains”, Stupid Girl”, “I Think I’m Paranoid” and “#1 Crush” from Romeo + Juliet. Also featured on the album is the theme from the James Bond flick The World Is Not Enough and a new track “Tell Me Where It Hurts”. The 18 track album also comes in a special edition format that features a second disc full of remixes. There is also a DVD that contains the band’s videos, live performances, interviews and backstage footage.
Perhaps this a sign that the band will be returning from a brief hiatus, even though they’ve done some shows earlier this year. But, I wouldn’t hold your breath just yet, because frontwoman Shirley Manson is set to release her debut album sometime this year. It features collaborations with Garbage drummer Butch Vig, Jack White and Billy Corgan.

Well I hope so. I loved their songs “I’m only happy when it rains”, as well as “special”.
I think that we just have to be patient, but I’m sure that they will. I wouldn’t mind seeing them in concert, because I’ve never seen them.
